RECAP: Grammy’s Weekend in Las Vegas and Tao Beach Dayclub Grand Opening

This past weekend the stars trekked outside of Los Angeles to celebrate the 64th annual Grammy Awards in Las Vegas.

The awards were originally supposed to air live from Crypto.com Arena (DTLA) on Jan. 31st but were forced to reschedule the event due to the pandemic.  However, the music industry still made the best with the relocation with an action packed weekend full of Grammys related events and other festivities such as the grand re-opening of Tao Beach Day club.

The star studded opening made it’s highly anticipated return to The Venetian Resort Las Vegas. On Saturday, major celebrities such as Kendall Jenner, Scott Disick, and Euphoria’s Angus Cloud were among those in attendance of the fully transformed iconic day club.

Guests flocked to the Asian-Inspired tropical oasis to catch sets by the industry’s prominent artists all while enjoying the revamped venue with stunning artwork, lush greenery, and of course signature Tao dishes. Supermodel and 818 founder Kendall Jenner was spotted sipping her own Tequila while mingling in the cabana with friends and brother, Brody Jenner.

Other celebs present included Bryan Cranston, Aaron Paul, Foodgod, Winnie Harlow, Nina Agdal, Anthony Mackie, Sean Stewart, Alesso, Lil Jon, Steve Aoki and Dude With A Sign.

Other highlights of the weekend included the annual EMPIRE Grammy Party which took place at The Infinity Pool of The Resorts World Hotel. Key Glock, Young Dolph’s cousin, was definitely the focus of the celebration at EMPIRE’s annual party and with good reason. The event doubled as an album release since he stepped out with Yellow Tape 2 (Deluxe) via Paper Route Empire on March 25. Not to mention, with 70 million streams on Spotify alone, he’s made waves in the music industry and did it all without a major label or a single guest feature.

“Diamonds in his smile, toolie by his side, and Memphis on his shoulders, Key Glock continues to secure and expand the reaches with a surplus of Southern swagger and a passion for flashin’ that never tires,” industry insiders say.

Over on the southern side of Las Vegas Boulevard, legendary instrument makers Gibson put on a ‘Brunch and Beats’ at the The Hard Rock Cafe to celebrate music industry creatives. Guests were treated to mimosas, a lovely breakfast buffet style spread, and performances by Girls Make Beats and PRNZT, a 23 year old hip hop artist from Cuba that can be heard here.

Post-Grammys, our exciting weekend concluded with a private Bruno Mars After Party at Delilah inside The Wynn Las Vegas. This was certainly the A-list party of the evening with celeb sightings including Bruno Mars, Kourtney Kardashian, Travis Barker, Dua Lipa, Diplo, Tyga, Scooter Braun, and Olivia Rodrigo, amongst many others.
