Four-time Pro Bowler Christian McCaffrey and his brother, Washington Commanders wide receiver Luke McCaffrey, scored a perfect “shift” at Raising Cane’s this week in California.

To celebrate Christian’s fourth Pro Bowl selection during Super Bowl LX week, the two sports greats got in some family time fun at the Colma restaurant. The sun sparkled at the location that stands in between San Francisco and Levi Stadium as hundreds of fans came out to cheer on Christian, who has played a MVP-like season thanks to fan and family support.

The brothers greeted ecstatic Caniacs who waved 49ers memorabilia and Raising Cane’s signs in the air. The enthusiasm was felt and empowered the meaning of the restaurant’s beloved slogan of “One Love.”Face-to-face with sports devotees, the grins could not be hidden from the podium from which they stood.

Christian and Luke then took time to serve a “shift” at the drive-thru where hot Box Combos were bowled out to a line of cars eager to have a moment with their sport’s hero. After, the two took time to sign autographs for fans and then a bit of brotherly rivalry turned the day into a different kind of match up.

From filling drinks and pumping Cane’s Sauce, they went on to play it up with a fun competition as sweet as the tea. The brother’s for a bit of a laugh competed in a Raising Cane’s-athon where they went up against each other to see who could score the most points with joyful delightful tasks like seeing how could squeeze out the most fresh lemon juice for the world-renowned lemonade or who could stack the most cups. It may not have been the Super Bowl, but it was a grand game of brotherly love.

Christian and Luke equally reflected on how the two always love to play together even if it means a bit of friendly competition between them. Meaning to inspire and push to great expectations since they grew up always wanting to play in the NFL like their dad, the family understood the day was special.

It’s such a blessing and obviously this stuff is a lot of fun and comes with the territory, but I feel very fortunate,” Christian told reporters at the event. “Everything we did, we did together. It is definitely cool to be here now.”

Both of them had their own stories about loving eating Raising Cane’s in IRL in between training days and beyond that they shared along with their appreciation for all that Todd Graves and the company does to support athletes from around the globe.

“They do so much for the sports community so we are proud to be here,” Christian stated.

It’s what Raising Cane’s serves up best, which is being known for bringing fans closer to the athletes who define the moment. This epic pre-Pro Bowl “shift” continues that tradition by turning championship-level seasons into unforgettable community experiences.
