Pretty Little Liars: Summer School Has Bloody Roses and Failed Keystone Exams

After a brief hiatus, Pretty Little Liars is back and the girls are headed to summer school!

As a Pennsylvania native, Pretty Little Liars has always been a show that has resonated with my upbringing and experiences. In fact, I can (humbly) brag that Sara Shepard, the immensely talented author of the original Pretty Little Liars book series, attended my alma mater, Downingtown West High School. So basically, I am one of the most knowledgeable people to interview the cast of Pretty Little Liars: Summer School, the sequel to the popular Max series, Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin.

This sequel picks up from where Original Sin ends, and starts with some major plot twists as soon as episode one begins (no spoilers, but let’s just say, the episode starts with some major events!) I spoke with the cast about the major developments of this season as well as the important conversations that come about in each episode.

We also discuss some real world connections to the show’s Pennsylvania setting, such as the Keystone exams and how they cause the main characters to have to attend summer school.

Pretty Little Liars: Summer School will be streaming on Max starting May 9.
