Prateek Kuhad’s Electrifying Debut at The Sultan Room

Singer-songwriter Prateek Kuhad’s extraordinary talent and musical brilliance took center stage as he celebrated the highly anticipated release of his Elektra Records debut, ‘The Way Lovers Do,’ with an unforgettable performance at The Sultan Room in Brooklyn, NYC, last Monday.Kuhad signed with Elektra Records back in October 2020. He achieved a significant milestone by signing with Elektra, making him the first Indian artist to join the prestigious label. As Rolling Stone India would call him, “one of the country’s leading singer-songwriters,” Prateek is from the northern city of Jaipur, India, and sings in Hindi and English.

Playing a solo/acoustic set, the sold-out crowd left in awe of the charismatic singer-songwriter’s live music. The atmosphere exhibited fans’ love for Kuhad, with many fans wiping tears of happiness throughout the set.

During the electrifying solo/acoustic gig, Prateek Kuhad treated the enthusiastic audience to some of his beloved songs, including crowd favorites like “cold / mess,” “Kasoor,” and “100 Words'”, as well as new tracks from his latest record, The Way Lovers Do. The setlist showcased his music’s depth, leaving fans captivated throughout the night.

Additionally, the highlight of the evening came when Prateek surprised the crowd by bringing out the talented singer-songwriter Raveena Aurora to perform their enchanting duet, “Bloom.”The duo’s musical chemistry lit up the room.

Prateek is gearing up for his upcoming “The Way That Lovers Do” tour, which will take him across North America beginning on June 2nd.
