The track was released shortly after the release of his latest EP ‘Colours 2’
The Toronto native uses the track to tell a story about his time with a woman. The track is very personal and seems to talk about the ups and downs of a very toxic relationship. The hook to the song goes:
Clearly, this song is addressed to someone in particular and there is a lot of emotion on the track. The singer goes on to mention some of the other women in the industry he’s dated but makes it seem like the relationships with them didn’t matter as much as the one with the mystery woman who seems to have broken his heart. PND has a couple of things on his plate at the moment. Besides being on the writing creds for some of the hottest tracks out right now, Colours 2 was released back in June and since he has been on his grind. He has been working alongside Halsey during the first few shows of her Hopeless Fountain Kingdom World Tour, that started up in September. PND has tweeted about working on music with Kanye West back in July.
