On August 27, UrbanStems held a floral exhibition for the general public to commemorate “Just Because” Day.
Floral gifting company, UrbanStems, held an exhibition last Friday to celebrate “ Just Because Day” by bringing joy to New Yorkers. Attendees picked a number of vibrant flowers at the Standard, High Line and enjoyed treats provided by the ice cream company Serendipity. During the pandemic, UrbanStems saw a spike in demand for “Just Because” flowers. Since the past year and a half has been bleak, the flowers have been able to spread happiness to those in need.
At the installation, flowers could also be sent out to loved ones in other parts of the country via an order form. UrbanStems additionally donated $1 to Project Happiness, for every post tagging them on the day. The company has a site-wide discount going on right now on their “Just Because” floral pieces to continue the celebration.
