On the Scene: Made in New York Pizza’s New Second Location

Some stereotypes about New Yorkers are true! We’re always on the go and when hunger kicks in we have no problem turning to pizza. Everyone has their favorite spot, and if it’s Made in New York Pizza, now there are two!

Located between Perry and West 11th Street, be sure to take a New York minute to support Chef Lou Tomczak at Made in New York Pizza’s second location at 561 Hudson Street. Tomczak, alongside his partner and Made in NY’s owner  Eytan Sugarman, created a fully loaded menu at the new location; including some vegan options.

On March 30, the partners got together with DJ Clue to throw an oh so New York pizza party. The pizzeria features artwork all over including a floor mural by famed Graffiti artist Lord Henry titled, “A Love Letter to New York,” and a few pieces from Sugarman’s personal NFT collection  that line the walls.

As for the food, guests were able to sample, in both squares and slices, the Spicy Pepperoni and it’s vegan cousin; a plant based pepperoni alternative. There were also specialty pizzas like “The Drunken Grandma,” a traditional square smothered in vodka sauce, and the “Street Fair Square,” with sausage, Vidalia onion, and cherry peppers; just to name a few.

This is definitely a spot to catch a vibe before the pregame, after the club or on a random Wednesday.
