The Countess of Real Housewives of New York co-hosted a comedy event at SLATE NYC on September 17th with top-rated iHeartRadio podcast host Chanel Omari of Chanel in the City to benefit STOMP Out Bullying.
Special guests like businessman and Luann de Lesseps’ ex, Jacques Azoulay, Andy Cohen’s assistant and award-winning podcast host Daryn Carp, and comedians Jessie Jolles, GianMarco Sorensi, Remy Kassimir, David Yantoff, and Jess Rothschild, also graced the stage to share personal stories of the traumas of bullying.

RHONY stars Dorinda Medley, Ramona Singer, Sonja Morgan, Tinsley Mortimer, and new cast member Leah McSweeney sat front row to support de Lesseps while filming for the show.
Omari and de Lesseps began the evening dancing to de Lesseps’ single “Feelin’ Jovani” before de Lesseps began reading a diary entry full of snappy quips of being incarcerated and her relationships with fellow Housewives.
De Lesseps also gave a shout out to the women in attendance who were part of the Fortune Society, a reentry service program and justice system reform advocate program. “I’m honored to have you ladies here tonight and am so proud to be part of the organization,” de Lesseps said.
Speaking of her own jail time, de Lesseps joked: “They asked me to wear an ankle bracelet; I said Jovani doesn’t make them.” She also teased her upcoming podcast “Countess and Friends,” debuting this fall.

Former boyfriend Azoulay followed next, making light of being bullied for his French accent and questioning onstage why the term “pardon my French” puts the blame on the romantic language for curse words.
Carp next opened up with a passionate story of homophobia entangled with a previous relationship, and Dorinda Medley showed her support to a round of applause.
A mix of personal stories and intense moments with depression, bullying, and mean YouTube comments were shared by the following comedians and podcast hosts. The intimate evening concluded with cocktails and bar snacks, as the lasting effects of bullying were digested by the crowd.
