The Kobi Halperin Spring 25 show wasn’t only a show. It was a listen and understand. A Reflection of Serenity.
On September 9th, 2024, Kobi Halperin unveiled their Spring 2025 Collection, “Reflections of Serenity”, with a fabulous runway presentation as part of the CFDA New York Fashion Week calendar.
The models, who looked ethereal thanks to Makeup by Michelle Webb and hair by Wella, glided down the runway showing off the brand’s diverse range of SS25 pieces, from textured tweeds to dip dyes and denim, complemented by feminine embroidered tops and dresses.
Caylee Cowan (1M), We Ani (898K), Kelsey Anderson (709K), Arsema Thomas (345K), Charity Lawson (297K), Lexi Wood (1M), Chelsea Vaughn (109K) & MORE attended the presentation to get a first look at the stunning upcoming collection.
The Reflections of Serenity show was exactly that. We loved watching the serene styles cascade down the soft like runway. We also listened to the vision of the show with headphones. Clips of anecdotes relating to the inspiration and the meaning behind the collection filled us with both sound and thought.
Inspired by his visit to The Rothko Chapel in Houston, known for fostering spiritual growth and dialogue. It inspires through its vision and breathtaking art. Kobi visited the chapel recently and found the experience transformative. The serene environment, put simply, filled him with a sense of hope. It was a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere. The holy place open to all religions and belonging to none, struck Halperin on a profound level. He immediately connected with the artist and his legacy.
Kobi felt as if he were adrift on the ocean along that line where the water and the sky blur. We were all along for the ride.
Halperin imagined the rhythmic waves, those soothing breaths of the sea.
As we listen to the ocean’s whispers, we find ourselves enveloped in its embrace. The healing peace of water nurtures our spirits and restores our sense of harmony with the world. Upheld and carried along by the currents, our spirits align with the eternal flow of the universe. That is where love, solace, and hope are as abundant and true as the water itself.
This was how Kobi described the feelings of his inspiration.
After presenting his Fall collection, Halperin was deeply moved by the positive reactions to the collections message of hope. He wanted to expand upon its embrace of togetherness and memory. Kobi wanted to further explore that universal nexus of belonging and tranquility. Marking us all as “children of the sea.” At the Rothko Chapel, one cannot help but feel that connection we all share.
For Spring 25 Kobi envisions a fleet of peace, of hope, of progress. Of being borne of the waters from every sea, each flowing to the other to form the whole.
We hope along with him and can see the possibility of it, dreaming for it to be closer.
