New Music Roundup: Releases You May Have Missed

Indulge in a plethora of fresh, new electronic beats from Lucii, Robert Hood, Bakermat, Squire, and Riggi & Piros

LUCII – TILL THE DAY I DIE [WAKAAN]

Lucii has been capturing the eyes and ears of bass-lovers worldwide since breaking into the scene with her galactic debut EP, Abduction, in 2018. Known for injecting her hazy vocals into relentless oscillating productions, the Orlando native delivered nothing shy of our expectations with this midtempo cut. The WAKAAN favorite is now gearing up to release her sophomore EP, Wicked, later this month,  and we can’t wait to see what she’s been bubbling up.

ROBERT HOOD – NOTHING STOPS DETROIT [REKIDS]

Techno pioneer and Detroit legend Robert Hood recently announced a new album on Radio Slaves‘ coveted Rekids imprint. In anticipation, the Underground Resistance co-founder released a 4-track warehouse-primed treat brimming with Hood’s irresistible minimalist flavor.

RIGGI & PIROS – BEEN HERE [ARMADA]

The latest track to come from the established creative force Riggi & Piros is a radio-friendly pop crossover that’s equal parts energy and emotion. ‘Been Here’ marks their eighth original production of the new decade, following a successful string of summer singles including their recent track ‘24/7’ and remix of Julian Jordan and Feldz’s ‘Nobody Knows’. The feel good vibes are also effortlessly complemented by SelfishWays’ harmonious vocal abilities, a true hallmark of the single that really breathes life into its approximately three-minute runtime.

BAKERMAT – THE RINGMASTER [ULTRA MUSIC]

After years of holding his place as the don of tropical house, Bakermat decided to grace the world with his debut album, a 10-track project showcasing his versatility as a producer and hitmaker. Previously released single off the LP, “Baianá“, teased listeners last year and subsequently shot its way up the ladder to Gold & Platinum status, surpassing 100 million streams. The Ringmaster is comprised of everything fans fell in love with about the Dutch producer’s music – funk, groove, pop, soul, and an in-your-face “feel-good” factor.

SQUIRE – BIRDIE EP [MOBILEE]

Barcelona based DJ/producer Squire has been on our radar since his recent set for Beatport ReConnect set, which is full of beat-driven – yet airy – melodic gems. His latest arrives swiftly after his Einmusika hit, ‘The Hidden”, and stays true to his signature deep, dream-like sound.
