Before opening doors to the public on Nov. 12, the red carpet rolled out for a magnificent celebration to honor what is destined to be a new way for the country to absorb their favorite shows and movies.

Netflix House Philadelphia and the sister venues opening up in coming months in Dallas and Las Vegas has made going to the mall again not just cool, but also an adventure that kids and adults of all ages can warmly embrace. The welcome mat at this door is full of wonder and surprises that captivate the visitor with brilliant interactive story-driven experiences, games, and themed food and drinks.

It’s the kind of story arch we need now more than ever with a call to action heard loud and clear when you enter through the big red doors of his house. They are yelling at the top of their lungs have fun and enjoy the day.

The starry launch party on Nov. 10 in King of Prussia was all about the excitement that this entertainment company is cranking out an impressive and nonstop speed. It allows the portal to open up as you slide from your couch where you Netflix and chill and let you feet plant on the ground of a real-life playground full of delight.

The grand opening saw the likes of favorite characters come to life with the sighting of from Wednesday, Luis Guzmán (Gomez), Isaac Ordonez (Pugsley) and Hunter Doohan (Tyler); From Kpop Demon Hunters, Kevin Woo (Mystery Saja Singing Voice); From To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before, Lana Condor (Lara Jean); From Chef’s Table, Cristina Martinez and Chef Ann Kim; From Sesame Street, Elmo; WWE Raw’s Chelsea Green; From One Piece, Ilia Isorelýs Paulino (Captain Alvida); From Emily in Paris, Ashley Park (Mindy) and Lucien Laviscount (Alfie); From Virgin River Benjamin Hollingsworth (Daniel); From Sweet Magnolias, Joanna Garcia Swisher (Maddie); From Squid Game: The Challenge S1, Phill Cain (2nd Place) and Sam Lantz (3rd Place).

They were just as impressive to see on the scene as were the excited executives and staff who made this dream come true. The block party was full of smiling team members who knew what they created was a bit of Hollywood magic shared with the masses just miles away from the epicenter of Philadelphia.
Dignitaries, Netflix talent, VIPs, influencers, and media arrived in style at King of Prussia, a Simon Mall in Pennsylvania. The red carpet began with Netflix Co-CEOs Ted Sarandos and Greg Peters presented Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro, alongside Pennsylvania State Senator Amanda Cappalletti and State Representative Tim Briggs proudly taking the first steps into the world of wonder.
Everything about the momentous occasion was worthy of applause. The rhapsody of interactive experiences of “Wednesday: Eve of the Outcasts” and “ONE PIECE: Quest For the Devil Fruit,” were enjoyed along with Netflix Virtuals and Top 9 mini golf.
Netflix BITES served up scrumptious culinary expressions the entire affair while Philadelphia’s own DJ Jazzy Jeff, brought the House to life with a signature set that celebrated the city’s creative spirit and Netflix’s arrival.
With the symbolic “Key to Netflix House” along with Netflix executives: Chief Content Officer Bela Bajaria, Chief Marketing Officer Marian Lee, Chief Financial Officer Spence Neumann, and Chief Global Affairs Officer Clete Willem they ushered in a new era of entertainment.
Additional guests who enjoyed an exclusive first look at Netflix House Philadelphia included: Netflix House partners, including: Eli Simon (Chief Operating Officer, Simon Mall) and Ian Putnam (President and CEO, Saks Global), and executives from Comcast/Xfinity and Mastercard. Netflix creative partners, including: executives from Shondaland, Shueisha, TomorrowStudios, Darren Star Productions, and MGM/Amazon were also on hand.
Netflix House Philadelphia is a modern lexicon for the entertainment world. Step into the den of this bold and brave new adventure and sit at the table were fun and excitement is served up to you on a gold plate.
