The best way to welcome summer weather is with a Grand Marnier cocktail
On Tuesday May 9th, Grand Marnier hosted a grand event celebrating a night of limitless possibilities of unexpected pairings. The event, titled Grand Encounters, was held at The Foundry and featured both indoor and outdoor experiences for guests to enjoy. And at the event, guests were able to sample a number of bite sized snacks that paired with the craft cocktails being offered. Some of our favorites included the Grand Margarita and the Grand Smash. The Grand Margarita featured Grand Marnier Cordon Rouge, Espolon Tequila, fresh lime juice, and agave nectar. The Grand Marnier was the star of this cocktail adding that extra bit of orange fragrance and taste to the margarita and the cognac gave the drink an extra depth. The Grand Smash was more with Grand Marnier Cordon Rouge, fresh lime, and mint. A simple but refreshing drink that highlighted the Grand Marnier and is a perfect summer cocktail to make at home.
Later on in the night, a special musical performance was put on by DJ Premier & The Badder Band. This performance featured DJ Premier spinning tunes from his turntable while the Badder Band musicians played instruments such as the cello and trumpet to match DJ Premier’s beats. This performance got guests moving and dancing and was the perfect ending to this night.
