On The Scene: George Wayne’s Downtown100 Party

In the very heart of New York City, on Friday night George Wayne and guests celebrated his annual list of downtown influencers.

Each year George Wayne, a long-time Vanity Fair’s celebrity journalist, hosts an event to celebrate the most notable people engaged in the growth and development of Downtown Manhattan. The 2016 edition was held right where New York’s heart beats the strongest – Times Square.

Downtown100 guests arrived to the W Hotel, where in the Living Room lounge they mingled and danced to the boogie rhythms and enjoyed a beautiful performance by a surprise guest.

The 25th annual Downtown100 List honored Mary J. Blidge, Rihanna, Spike Jonze, Maxwell, Sean Combs, Lee Daniels, Emily Smith, Marc Jacobs, Omar Hernandez and many more.

Last night in attendance were singer Mallory Merk, model Alessandro Melle, actor Paul Iacono and more attended the bash.

The night was sponsored by Alacran Tequila, thanks to which courtesy, mixed drinks were distributed on the dance floor throughout the night.

Downtown100 List belongs to one of the most prestigious in New York City. In the past years George Wayne recognized on it people like Lady Gaga, Kate UptonIvana Trump, A$AP Rocky, Solange Knowles, Alan Cumming, Rupert Murdoch and the list goes on.
