As a part of the Television Critics Association (TCA) Winter Press Tour, FOX unveiled three new shows set to premiere during the 2018-2019 Season.

Set to air in January 2019, “The Masked Singer” is a new celebrity competition series based on the viral YouTube phenomenon. The show will feature celebrities facing off against each other with a groundbreaking twist: each singer will wear a full face mask and costume to conceal his or her identity. Between them, the celebrity competitors have earned a total of 65 Grammy nominations, 16 Emmy Award nominations, 16 multi-platinum albums, and four Super Bowl titles. Nick Cannon will host “The Masked Singer” while Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy, Nicole Scherzinger, and Robin Thicke judge the panel and try to figure out the identity of the celebrity contestants.

“Spin the Wheel,” executive-produced by Justin Timberlake and hosted by Dax Shepard, is set to premiere on FOX during the 2018-2019 Season. This high stakes game show will offer life-changing opportunities for contestants to win up to $20 million per episode with the spin of a massive wheel. Throughout the game, contestants will answer pop culture trivia questions. With each correct answer, more extreme amounts of cash will be added to the wheel’s wedges, while each incorrect answer adds dangerous wedges to the wheel. With $20 million on the line, players will make tough, gut-wrenching decisions about whether to walk away or risk it all to spin the wheel.

“Mental Samurai,” the first ever obstacle course for the mind, is scheduled to air during the 2018-2019 Season. Hosted by Rob Lowe, this new competition show pushes all aspects of human intelligence and mental agility. Each episode, contestants will battle the boundaries of their minds, trying to accurately answer questions with quickness and precision. The show will test the contestants’ knowledge, memory, numbers, and sequencing. It will also feature a specially designed capsule that can transport the contestants around the set and rotate 360 degrees. “Mental Samurai” will force contestants to maximize their mind’s capabilities to win the competition.
