Exclusive: Vanessa Hudgens Talks ‘The Princess Switch: Switched Again’ [Video]

Don’t call it a comeback! The Princess Switch: Switched Again hits Netflix on November 19th and brings us THREE characters played by Vanessa Hudgens. Now that’s what I call a triple threat! Fresh off of wrapping the movie Tick, Tick… Boom!, Hudgens in now in the throws of press for Switched Again and we think this girl has earned herself a long post-turkey nap!

The Princess Switch: Switched Again is the sequel to 2018’s phenomenally popular The Princess Switch. In the original film, Lady Margaret swaps places with an American baker named Stacy… but when each girl finds love, things get more than complicated. Spoiler alert: It all works out. Or did it? Happily ever after – wasn’t exactly ever after – because when we revisit the girls in Switched Again, Margaret is missing Kevin and Stacy is so busy worrying about her BFF Margaret that she wreaks mini havoc on her own royal relationship!

Sounds fun, right? That’s not even half of the plot! Cue Donatella Versace clone, cousin Fiona. Hudgens has so much fun with the platinum blonde, playing her like Gaga straight out of Season 4 of MTV’s The Hills. Thankfully, Cousin Fiona adds that little spark of chaos that unifies the original cast of characters. Hudgens shares with screen with (handsome) familiar faces – Sam Palladio and Nick Sagar.

Were there challenges in playing three different characters? YUP! In the above video, Vanessa Hudgens talks to The Knockturnal’s Kinsey Schofield about how she juggled the tough assignment. Mind you, the Halloween Queen isn’t complaining! She loves any excuse to throw on a wig and play!

The Princess Switch: Switched Again is a sweet holiday adventure that is very family-friendly. Enjoy it starting November 19th exclusively on Netflix.
