Wrath of Man is a non-stop thriller that’s sure to keep you on the edge of your seat this summer.
Packed with a stellar cast, the film follows a mysterious character “H,” played by Jason Statham, who is hired by a security firm moving millions of dollars. It’s only later in the movie when the drama unfolds that you realize his true dark intentions.
Holt McCallany plays “Bullet,” an ex-soldier who fought in Afghanistan and trains “H.” McCallany says the film tackles a deep question. “What lengths would a man go to to get justice for the person that he loved most in his life,” he explains, “It’s Jason’s inner struggle. We only see it in glimpses, but it’s him trying to process his grief.”
Raúl Castillo plays “Sam” and was excited to work on a fun action film launching just in time for the summer. To prepare for his role, the cast practiced their shooting skills. “We were in the English countryside shooting guns,” he explains “It was fun. It was part of building chemistry. My ten-year-old self was giddy.”
Laz Alonso, a fan-favorite from shows like “The Boys” and classics like “Jumping the Broom” plays Carlos. Alonso was especially excited to work with director Guy Ritchie. “I’ve always been a Guy Ritche Fan. He was admittedly on my list of directors that I wanted to one day work with,” he says, “When you get on a Guy Ritchie movie it’s different than any movie I’ve ever been in because on the spot, whatever you prepared for that day is probably going to end up out the window.”
You can catch “Wrath of Man” in theaters on May 7th.
