Franki Amour will soon be releasing her single ‘Love Scars’ and her EP ‘Beautiful Choas.’
The single ‘Love Scars’ is based on Amour’s personal experience when dealing with a relationship and coming to terms with the disappointing reality that most will find relatable. The song incorporates lyrics of heartache and hardship paired with an upbeat melody and transitioning tones. Her EP will provide fans and listeners a glimpse into her as an artist, describing herself as bold, charismatic, fun, and sassy. Beautiful Choas’ symbolizes the strength one has when overcoming personal issues and relationship traumas, developing past the circumstances and finding the beauty in each situation.
Our correspondent Rebecca Eugene spoke with Amour about her upcoming project and plans for the future. Amor also detailed her passion for fashion, beauty, and inspirational icons that have opened the door for brown-skinned girls within the industry.

The Knockturnal: What first got you into music? What inspires you to make music?
Franki Amour: I’ve always loved music growing up. I taught myself how to sing just by listening to the radio ALL DAY at an early age. Anything inspires me when it comes to creating music. Life, love, ego, triumphs.
The Knockturnal: When it comes to producing your music, what do you feel is the biggest challenge?
Franki Amour: In all honesty the emotions had to be aligned. Whatever it is you’re expressing at that given moment, the emotion needs to sync.
The Knockturnal: What are you excited about for fans to hear from your project, “Beautiful Chaos”? What is the meaning behind the name of the album?
Franki Amour: I’m most excited that the people get to experience a new sound and energy. There’s only 1 me so that’s new within itself. The meaning behind my Ep “Beautiful Chaos” is being able to stand firm in the mud beautifully. You can and will always find beauty within a disaster internally.
The Knockturnal: How have you developed musically from your previous songs compared to your new project?
Franki Amour: My growth has been a roller coaster. I’m still growing, I learn new things about myself everyday. I’ve learned to embrace my emotions lol and release them in an astronomical way .
The Knockturnal: What is your creative process like? How long did it take you to develop this project?
Franki Amour: Well believe it or not there’s a lot that goes behind creating. Mentally you have to be prepared and well rested. It really didn’t take me too long because I already knew what areas I was targeting and what I wanted to indulge myself into. So not long but long enough lol if that makes sense.
The Knockturnal: While creating your single ‘Love Scars’ what was your inspiration? What was your thought process when including personal aspects about relationships and allowing yourself to be vulnerable?
Franki Amour: Creating “Love Scars” was simple actually. I took personal experiences that I’ve dealt with (which I thought was funny) and decided to come up with a bop. It was one of those reciprocations type of vibe. “Don’t get mad when I do you how you do me” feeling lol.
The Knockturnal: How would you describe the music that you typically create?
Franki Amour: I would describe my creation of music very relatable. I am the person that’s going to say what you are thinking OUT LOUD lol. Very bold and Charismatic. Very sexy, and soulful. Very mouthy and sassy. Very fun and hyped.
The Knockturnal: Who in the industry would you like to collaborate with in the future?
Franki Amour: I love Doja Cat, Nicki, Drake, Lil NasX, Bey, Chris, I mean the list is endless …
The Knockturnal: What do you hope to do next in your music career?
Franki Amour: I can’t wait to release my single “Love Scars” I’m thrilled to see what will come out of this. Then next will be the album and SHOWS. I can’t wait to hit a stage and activate my senses with the crowd.
The Knockturnal: Describe your background in fashion and beauty? Who are some fashion icons that inspire you?
Franki Amour: I’ve always had a passion for fashion and beauty. I wanted to become a runway, print model as well lol. I find every model that walks high fashion runways breathtaking. Naomi, Tyra and Iman were the blueprint for brown skinned girls…. Now you have a handful cat walking all over the world and it’s so beautiful to see. There’s toooo many iconic designers to name but 2 of my favs were McQueen and Mugler … The edgy yet gloomy fashion was Astonishing and mesmerizing. Very enchanting and sexy as hell. Such “Beautiful Chaos” There will never be another McQueen and baby wait until I am.
