At the world premiere for Little Women in New York this past week, the cast spoke about the making of the film and more!
The world premiere for the new film Little Women was held at the Museum of Modern Art on Saturday, December 7th. Greta Gerwig directed the film, her follow-up to the 2017 smash hit Lady Bird. The film stars Saoirse Ronan, Florence Pugh, Emma Watson, and Eliza Scanlen as the four March sisters and shows their life and times.
When we say the world premiere of Little Women, we knew we had seen a hit. The movie stars Saoirse Ronan as Jo, the middle child and most adventurous sister. Her relationships with Meg (Watson), Amy (Pugh), and Beth (Scanlen) are put to the test time and time again. This includes in their interactions with local boys like rich neighbor Laurie (Timothee Chalamet) and local tutor John Brooke (James Norton). There is also their relationship with Marmee (Laura Dern) and their father, currently at war. Yet through it all, the sisters have one another to rely on.
