Exclusive: Cast of Apple TV’s new series ‘Swagger’ talks Series [Video]

Apple TV’s new series proves that passion, commitment, and swagger are the ingredients to playing the game of basketball.

The Knockturnal had the pleasure of sitting down with the cast of Apple TV’s, new highly-anticipated drama series, Swagger. The show is inspired by the experiences of Kevin Durant and was created by Reggie Rock Bythewood, who also writes, directs, and serves as showrunner, and executive producer alongside Durant and Brian Grazer.

Swagger explores the world of youth basketball, and the players, their families, and coaches who walk the fine line between dreams, and ambition, and opportunism and corruption. Outside of the court, the series sheds light on some of the harsh realities of growing up in America while chasing a dream.

The sports drama series includes an ensemble cast of stars including O’shea Jackson Jr., Isaiah Hill, Shinelle Azoroh, Academy Award-nominee Quvenzhané Wallis, Caleel Harris, James Bingham, Solomon Irama, Ozie Nzeribe, Tessa Ferrer, Tristan Mack Wilds, and Jason Rivera. The series is produced for Apple by Thirty-Five Ventures, Imagine Television Studios, CBS Studios, and Undisputed Cinema. Also serving as executive producers are Samie Kim Falvey, Francie Calfo, and Samantha Corbin-Miller.

Swagger Premieres globally on October 29th, 2021, with the first three episodes available, followed by new weekly episodes every Friday after.
