Estelle Prioritizes Joy in Her Upcoming Sixth Studio Album

The Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Estelle is preparing to release her sixth studio album in 2025. “This album speaks to the joy of people, into the light of people,” says the singer. Estelle recently released her second single, “Fire,” featuring Joi on all streaming platforms. Estelle was ecstatic to work with Joi and said, “She influenced a thousand of these alternative youngins.’” The song was co-written by Estelle and co-produced by Grammy Award-winning Keith Harris. The energetic song is about finding someone who matches your energy to the fullest. There’s a dance video for the song directed by Storm DeBarge and Sheoptra. Storm DeBarge and Sheoptra are also the creatives who worked alongside Estelle for the music video for the newest single, “Oh I.”
“Oh I” is the singer’s lead single for her new album, tapping into the British soul-pop and international house music she grew up listening to in the 80s and 90s. When discussing her new project, Estelle mentioned, “I just want to dance and be happy.” We can expect the joy-prioritizing album from Estelle next winter in 2025. As we wait for her upcoming sixth studio album, Estelle has been keeping busy with many other projects.


The international pop star celebrated the 20th anniversary of her first studio album, “The 18th Day,” on October 18th, 2024. As Estelle celebrated her first album, she released the contagious dance song “Fire.” The American Boy singer unveiled an “American Boy (NASHUP Remix), distributed by Round Hill Records to commemorate 16 years of the 2008 classic. For the first time since 2008, Round Hill Records presents a vinyl release of Estelle’s sophomore album Shine.

If you can’t get enough of Estelle, you can tune into The Estelle Show in partnership with Apple Music. “It was just a return to the original,” Estelle shared regarding her radio show. In the early 2000s, Estelle started as a co-host with her friend on Choice FM. After joining the Apple Music radio family in 2019, she has celebrated the diverse sounds of music while sharing the stories of artists on her show.

Estelle is expected to release a memoir that currently remains untitled, discussing her experiences during her career. That will consist of transitioning from living in the UK to the US, meeting Kanye West at the Waffle House, and more. “I’m writing from the perspective of the things I’ve learned so far,” says Estelle. Furthermore, Estelle is featured in the GOTV (Get Out The Vote) PSA presented by Icon Mann entitled “I, TOO AM AMERICA.” It’s an inspirational campaign of African American, Asian American, and LGBTQIA influence that premiered on National Voter Registration Day, September 17. The PSA highlights the significance of inclusive American identity, focusing on encouraging voter registration and turnout in the upcoming presidential election.
