Charm La’Donna is a creative choreographer and visionary to some of the biggest names in the music industry. Now she’s spreading that creativity and giving back to her to her former community—Compton. She will be teaching master classes on dance starting in Los Angeles and branching out all over the nation.
La’Donna has worked with legendary choreographer Fatima Robinson when she was just ten years old. Robinson is known with her work with the King of Pop, Michael Jackson. From there she danced her way into Madonna’s team at just seventeen years old. She mentions that she learned structure and discipline from her. The creative director then moved on to work with rapper Kendrick Lamar to pop star Britney Spears. She’s a force to be reckoned with now and has climbed the ranks in the dance industry—one move at a time.
The Knockturnal’s Robert Frezza recently sat down with the creative via zoom to talk how she got started in the music industry, her hard work ethics, and her playlist.
