Carmelo Anthony and Ksubi Host ‘Stay Elevated’ Launch

The Knockturnal attended KSUBI’s SoHo event, and I was happy to experience the launch of the ‘Stay Elevated’ capsule in collaboration with Carmelo Anthony’s STAYME7O brand.

Australian streetwear brand KSUBI hosted a packed event on April 17 at its SoHo flagship, celebrating its collaboration with Carmelo Anthony’s cannabis brand STAYME7O. I arrived to a line wrapped outside, with a crowd excited to get in on a warm spring night in New York City.

While I didn’t get the chance to speak directly with Anthony, members of his team shared how excited they were to see the city show up and support the STAYME7O movement and the energy behind the “Stay Elevated” launch.

Inside, the atmosphere was relaxed, welcoming, and intentionally curated. Guests were free to move through a cannabis-friendly environment that felt open and social without losing its sense of design and structure. The crowd reflected a strong mix of fashion-forward New Yorkers, creatives, and cannabis enthusiasts, all connecting through style, music, and culture. Throughout the night, guests engaged with visual moments shared via KSUBI’s Instagram, capturing the brand’s signature aesthetic in real time.

The event also highlighted exclusive content and imagery from the collaboration, further reinforcing the creative direction of the partnership.

More than just a product launch, the night challenged common stereotypes surrounding cannabis culture. Instead of outdated perceptions, the experience leaned into a more modern narrative centered on relaxation, creativity, wellness, and community. Guests were also gifted STAYME7O products, extending the experience beyond the event itself.

Ultimately, the evening successfully bridged fashion, lifestyle, and culture, positioning itself as a standout moment ahead of 4/20 and reinforcing the evolving intersection between streetwear and cannabis in contemporary culture.
