Fall has officially started which means festival season is slowly winding down. But as the warm, summer weather still lingers in these last remaining days of September, festival-goers are still going hard.

Women’s magazine Bustle hosted their second annual Rulebreakers Festival in Brooklyn on Saturday and it was nothing short of a fun-filled day. More than 6,000 people filled up Park Slope’s Prospect Park to experience free pedal boat rides, roller skating in the Michael Kors skating rink, a rejuvenating yoga session and glitter-themed makeovers by e.l.f. cosmetics.

Artists including  Betty Who, Jesse Jo Stark and emerging pop artist ABIR were a few of the performers who took the stage throughout the day as fans hula-hooped and feasted on tasty festival treats. Activist Busy Philipps, NCAA gymnastics champion Katelyn Ohashi and UCLA gymnastics coach Valorie Kondos Field were just some of the special guests present.

To stay cool throughout the hot day, Bud Light provided their popular canned margarita drinks while sponsors VISA and Fossil provided original cocktails inspired by the performers, one of which was a fruity blended concoction dubbed Cuz I Love You after Lizzo’s latest project.

Lizzo, who currently has the longest running #1 solo hit by a female rapper with “Truth Hurts,” closed out the festival and put on an eclectic show belting out fan favorites like “Tempo”, “Jerome” and “Exactly How I Feel”.

Right before her set, however, political powerhouse and voting rights leader Stacey Abrams took the stage to urge everyone to use their voice and make a change that can ultimately save our future. With today being National Voter Registration Day, her inspiring message couldn’t have come through at a better time.
