Brooks Brothers Turn into High Rollers For Charity

Brooks Brothers fought disease in style last Wednesday night with a chic casino themed charity night at their Rodeo Drive location.

Celebrities and VIPs alike raisied funds for UCLA’s Jonsson Cancer Center by crowding around tables playing black jack, craps, and roulette. Gambling for a cure also paid off big for some attendees who walked away with some fabulous raffle prizes including two round trip Delta tickets to Europe, a delicious dinner at Craig’s, a rare bottle of one of Johnnie Walker John Walker & Sons’ best whiskies Odyssey, a shopping spree, and a Brooks Brothers custom suit.

One of the night’s biggest winners (and biggest donors) was actor Jesse Metcalfe who walked away with two of the raffle prizes and was awarded them by Stranger Things actor Matthew Modine, who was accompanied by his daughter and Shameless actress, Ruby Modine.

When guests weren’t trying their luck with cards or dice, they could be found dancing to the styling of DJ Guillaume Viau, sipping on a flute of Moet & Chandon champagne, or enjoying an exclusive Johnny Walker whiskey tasting.

The fun filled evening shed light on the prestigious work of the Jonsson Cancer Center Foundation. The center remains the trailblazer for raising private funds towards cancer research, which allows scientists and doctors to research and explore new possibilities for a cure. Brooks Brothers was also able to enjoy the spot light as America’s oldest retailer and a shop of fashion innovation. Since its start in New York in 1818, Brooks Brothers has built an empire while still maintaining a commitment to service, quality, value, and of course, style.

No matter how patrons’ luck turned out at the tables or during the raffle, everyone could agree, that with 100% of the night’s earning going towards cancer research, “Le Casino” was a resounding success.
