On The Scene: Belvedere Vodka Celebrates New ‘Spectre’ Campaign

One World Trade center’s observatory deck doesn’t just shut down for any reason, but the advertising’s campaign launch partnership between the new James Bond film ‘Spectre’ and Belvedere vodka seemed like just as good a time as any.

On Wednesday, September 9 The Knockturnal attended the launch party and had an exclusive sneak peak into the latest Belvedere vodka ad campaign which features current Bond girl Stephanie Sigman.

The launch party, which did in fact take place on the 102nd floor of the Freedom Tower was djed by DJ Virgil Abloh. Belvedere vodka was flowing with specialty cocktails like the Belvedere 007 Martini, Belvedere Double 0, and the Belvedere Spectre 007. Guests also nibbled on beat and goat cheese flatbread, sliders, and crab cakes.

There was of course a photo booth that featured a grand piano for people to pose to their most sexy James Bond themed photos behind the incredible views from One World Trade Center.

We chatted with both the president of Belvedere as well as newcomer Bond girl Stephanie Sigman.

Read below for our exclusive interviews:

The Knockturnal: Tell us about the partnership with Belvedere and the film.

Charles Gibb: Bond is a man of style.. he’s a man of substance.. he’s a man with fantastic taste and Belvedere, we’re a vodka with authenticity with character and above all we taste absolutely fantastic in a martini. And therefore the partnership was ideal from both parties perspectives so its a very exciting partnership.

The Knockturnal: And tell us about the ad campagin.
Charles Gibb: So we’re very privileged to be working with one of the actresses from the movie Stephanie Sigman – she’s a a talented lady and fantastic person to work with. She stars in the ad and its clearly a homage to the martini but done in a different way.. a little edge, a little excitement and obviously celebrating Bond’s iconic choice.

The Knockturnal: Tell us what it feels like to be part of the James Bond franchise.
Stephanie Sigman: It feels amazing, you know I feel very special and honored to be part of this legendary film and just legendary production.

The Knockturnal: What was it like working with Daniel Craig?
Stephanie Sigman: It’s really easy.. he’s a really talented guy. He’s very charming and treated me really well so I felt comfortable.

“Spectre” hits theaters November 6, 2015.
