An Opera We Can All Enjoy

Want to check out the opera but not ready to drop several hundred on tickets and formal attire to watch something in a language you don’t understand? Now is your chance thanks to Apotheosis Opera.

This weekend you can check out Apotheosis Opera’s inaugural fully-staged, English translated production of Richard Wagner’s early masterpiece TANNHÄUSER at a price you can’t beat.

What’s TANNHÄUSER you ask? It’s a unique and powerful dramatic three act opera where history and myth collide in a story based on the legends of a real 13th century Minnesinger (German poet-musician), Tannhäuser,  and his relationships with the goddess Venus and a pure young maiden

Add some culture to your summer this Friday, July 31, 2015, at 7pm or Sunday, August 2, 2015, at 3pm at the theatre of El Museo del Barrio, 1230 5th Avenue. Tickets are available for $15, $25, and $45, and can be purchased at tannhauser2015.org.
