“Master” is Director Mariama Diallo’s first feature film, after having won The Sundance Film Festival Jury Award in the “U.S. Fiction Short Film” category, for her creation of “Hair Wolf.”
Actress and Executive Producer of the film, Regina Hall, is the leading actress alongside her co-stars, Zoe Renee, and Amber Gray. “Master” is a psychological, social thriller film, that depicts a haunted University.
According to Collider, “the film tells the story of three African American women at a largely white New England university. While one of them (Hall) is the first Black woman to hold the post of “Master” of a residence hall, another is an “energetic and optimistic” freshman (Zoe Renee) who moves into a dorm room that is rumored to be haunted, and the third (Amber Gray) is a professor up for tenure.” “Master” will be released internationally on Prime Video on March 18th!
