The Algonquin Hotel in Midtown New York, hosted a festive evening full of live music, pop-up fashion portraits by Illustrator Steve Q, and a silent auction that took place!
Everyone was all pinked out, included the bar, that had a gorgeous hot pink hue to it, thanks to handy LED lights! The specialty cocktail of the evening was a hot pink cider mix that had the evening off to a great start! The talented pianist played joyful tunes, included the notorious Charlie Brown holiday song that we all grew up loving, as guests swayed along and mingled. Vender participants showcased their pink jewels and white jewels collections, as well as cheerful fashion portraits, that featured the on-brand, decorative, pink masks, fit for a Pink Masquerade Ball, that were both available for purchase, with all the proceeds going towards Breast Cancer Research.
The silent auction took place in a room next to the bar, and offered a variety of options for art and philanthropy lovers, and featured art made by local NYC Artists, books, as well as, first-hand photographs of young artists, Basquiat and Al Pacino, for sale. There were also Donation QR codes available, that helped financially Support Team Algonquin Hotel via Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Central Park, along with the American Cancer Society. A positive night with a positive mission!
