Alessa, the latest dining destination in New York City’s Penn District, celebrated its grand opening with an unforgettable evening of Italian elegance and contemporary flair.

Hosted by Thomas Murphy, Founder and CEO of 212 Hospitality Group, the event welcomed an impressive mix of creators, musicians, models, and tastemakers, including Honey Balenciaga, Blu DeTiger, and Yves Mathieu East, among others.

The event was a testament to’s culinary ambition, with Executive Chef Denevin Miranda, formerly of 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge, crafting a menu that showcased a blend of traditional Italian dishes with modern twists. Guests enjoyed housemade pizzas from imported Italian ovens, Adamas Exclusive Italian Caviar, and a selection of handcrafted cocktails alongside fine wines.

The celebration began with an Aperitivo Hour, setting the tone for the evening, while DJ Cyrus X provided a lively soundtrack throughout the night. The chic atmosphere was carefully curated by Bongiorni Brand Management, who handled all aspects of the event’s design, production, and flow, ensuring every detail reflected the restaurant’s vision of Italian sophistication meeting modern creativity.
