The Detroit rapper’s unique sense of style continues to evolve throughout his career but last night proves that it has yet to falter. Big Sean wore an all navy-blue suit paired with a velvet embroidered navy blue coat to match.

Eve has gradually stepped back from the music scene since marrying millionaire British entrepreneur, Maximillion Cooper. Eve’s ability to remain rich and out of the limelight while still serving us looks every once in a while, is truly inspiring. It was hard for the rapper to not catch stares as she walked the carpet in a shiny crystal suit by Naeem Khan that showed off her iconic paw print chest tattoos.

Janelle Monae walked the carpet with a new blonde do and a vibrant floral-patterned suit, adorned with a bow tie and a Time’s Up movement pin which originated early this year in response to the sexual assault allegations that have swept across Hollywood in the past few weeks. Monae also delivered an inspiring speech about the movement later on in the night.

While giving off outrageous Dennis Rodman hair vibes, Tyler’s outfit was a bit subtler. He wore a soft blue coat matched with a Louis Vuitton monogram scarf and shoes from his exclusive collaboration with Converse.

Cardi B and Hennessy Carolina

Cardi B has had an amazing year and her energy on the red carpet was unmatched! Bringing along her sister Hennessy as her date, the two-time nominee wore an angelic ivory dress by Saudi Arabian couture designer Mohammad Ashi.

The Queens of R&B skipped the red carpet this year, preferring to slay once inside of the venue. Rihanna scored a win last night for her collaboration with the five-time winner of the night, Kendrick Lamar, on their song “LOYALTY”. The Bad Gal walked on stage to accept her award in a chocolate latex trench coat, simple yet still one of the biggest style moments of the night.

  • What inspired today’s look?
    • Because of the vibe of Rihanna’s performance was fun and whimsical, we wanted to create a very chic studio54 inspired look.
  • Did you have any references for the look? Any specific inspiration?
    • Rihanna and I were inspired to create this Disco Diva look by queens like Donna Summers and Diana Ross. The idea was to make Rihanna look like a fluffy dream
  • What products were used to achieve the look?
  • How long did the process take?
    • About 45 minutes
  • What was the trickiest part of creating this style?
    • My team and I have been planning this whole thing for about a week. We styled Rihanna and all the background dancers so a lot of thought and work went into this
