Yellowstone Park Foundation’s First Annual Gala

On Wednesday October 21, the Yellowstone Park Foundation held their 1st annual young patrons gala at The Bowery hotel in New York’s East Village.

The event featured a silent auction with items up for bid such as a MAC beauty cosmetics bag, A J. Mclaughlin gift card, and the bidder’s name on a Grizzly bear box for all park guests to see.

Guests enjoyed an open bar with specialty vodka cocktails provided by Punzoné Vodka and delicious, unlimited wood oven pizza and fried risotto balls from Luzzo’s BK that were so good we’re still thinking about them!

Guests included the event Co-chairs Arielle Patrick, Alice Ryan, Jackie Rooney and the event’s host committee Peter Davis, Ben Bronfman, and Kipton Cronkite.

As the night went on, dancing ensued to the beats of DJ Theory and continued at the gala’s after party at hot spot PHD.

The Yellowstone Park Foundation works to fund important projects and programs, many of which are beyond the financial capacity of the National Park Service. The foundation receives no annual government funding; it relies instead upon the generous support of private citizens, foundations, and corporations to ensure that Yellowstone’s great gifts to the world will never diminish. In other words, it’s for the animals!
