WorldStarHipHop to Premiere First Animated Series ‘Suburban’

The idea began as a simple concept Samuel and Tyrone came up with while working on voiceovers for Grand Theft Auto. Little did they know it would develop into a full series.

One of the largest entertainment platforms, WorldStarHipHop, announced that it will be premiering its first animated series Suburban.

The R-rated eight-episode series, executive produced by Lee “Q” O’Denat and created by Samuel Gerges and comedian Tyrone Ewing also known as Itsreal85 follows a group of friends as they embark on a series of crazy adventures that include celebrity kidnappings, police brutality, and of course, saving the world. The group consists of a New York rat named ‘Ratt,’ a self-proclaimed pretty boy ‘G Boy Fresh’ and ‘Jabari.’ This motley crew has no limits to the things they’ll say or do to have a good time.

“Creating Suburban has been an unbelievable experience that’s constantly pushed us to strive for better and better content as creators,” said content creator Samuel Gerges. “We live to make people laugh. From a simple unrealistic idea to a full first season, it has been absolutely insane.” “There is nothing more rewarding than being able to wake up every day and ‘work’ on something you enjoy. None of this would be possible without the support, funding and far-reaching platform of WorldStarHiphop. It is the only platform online that can pull something like this off,” said content creator, Tyrone Ewing.

Suburban will be the first of many series created and produced by WorldStarHipHop to introduce fresh talented actors, directors, and writers.
