Where Art Meets Rosé: Hampton Water’s Bold New Chapter with Cey Adams

Jon Bon Jovi and his son Jesse Bongiovi are raising the bar once again with Hampton Water’s newest endeavor—the Artist Series.

This inaugural release features a dynamic collaboration with legendary Hip-Hop artist and creative visionary Cey Adams. Known for his groundbreaking work as the founding Creative Director of Def Jam Recordings, Cey has shaped the visual identity of music legends like Run DMC, Beastie Boys, LL Cool J, and Jay-Z, with his art showcased everywhere from MoMA to the Brooklyn Museum.

Now, he brings that same cultural depth and bold visual storytelling to Hampton Water’s limited-edition 2024 vintage. The label—vibrant, expressive, and rooted in purpose—is a celebration of creativity, community, and cause. With a portion of proceeds benefiting City Harvest, this collector’s bottle is more than just a stunning piece—it’s a toast to giving back.

Exclusive Interview With Jesse Bongiovi

The Knockturnal: How did the idea for the Hampton Water Artist Series come about, and what inspired you to bring this concept to life now?
Jesse Bongiovi: At Hampton Water, we’ve always believed wine is about more than what’s in the bottle—it’s about creativity, culture, and connection. The Artist Series was born from a desire to bring that ethos to life in a new way. We wanted to collaborate with artists who share our values and offer a fresh perspective, and the time felt right to evolve the brand with something that celebrates artistry, storytelling, and purpose.

The Knockturnal: Why was Cey Adams the right artist to launch this inaugural series with, and what did the collaboration process look like?
Jesse Bongiovi: Cey was a natural fit and has been a close friend for many years. He’s a true visionary whose work has helped shape the visual identity of Hip-Hop and beyond. More importantly, he brings intention and heart to everything he creates. His story and creative voice align so well with our brand values. From day one, the collaboration was a shared conversation about art, culture, and giving back. Cey was incredibly hands-on and poured real emotion into this label—it’s bold, joyful, and meaningful.

The Knockturnal: Cey is known for shaping the visual identity of Hip-Hop—how does his artistic style complement the Hampton Water brand?
Jesse Bongiovi: Cey’s work is dynamic, textured, and deeply connected to culture, which is exactly the spirit we wanted to capture with this release. His visual style brings a sense of movement and meaning that feels both timeless and approachable. The label he created is vibrant and full of life, like a burst of energy, bottled and ready to share.

The Knockturnal: Can you talk us through the vision behind the limited-edition label and what makes this 2024 vintage stand out from past releases?
Jesse Bongiovi: The label is bold, colorful, and full of texture—it really jumps off the bottle. It’s sophisticated but expressive, with a visual energy that mirrors the spirit of the wine. As for the 2024 vintage, it’s a small-batch artisanal blend, made from organic grapes,  aged six months in French oak—the longest aging process in our portfolio—resulting in a rosé that’s more complex and refined while still delivering the bright, fresh character Hampton Water is known for.

The Knockturnal: How does the Artist Series differ from Hampton Water’s original rosé, both in terms of the wine itself and the overall experience for consumers?
Jesse Bongiovi: This isn’t just a new label—it’s a new expression of Hampton Water. The blend is more complex and thoughtfully crafted, perfect for collectors or those looking to savor something unique. And the experience goes beyond the glass—it’s about celebrating artists, championing community, and giving back. With proceeds supporting City Harvest, it’s a bottle that tells a bigger story.

The Knockturnal: With the recent release of Bubbly, how would you describe the evolution of Hampton Water’s portfolio—and how does the Artist Series fit into that growth?
Jesse Bongiovi: We’ve always said Hampton Water is a lifestyle brand, and this past year really reflects that evolution. Bubbly brought a more playful, celebratory dimension to our portfolio, and the Artist Series adds a new layer of artistry and purpose. Together, they show the range of what Hampton Water can be—fun, elevated, meaningful—and they speak to how we’re growing without losing what makes us, us.
