WE tv Brings Out Music Legends For ‘Growing Up Hip Hop’ Premiere Party

On Thursday, December 10 Television network WE tv laid out the red carpet for a Growing Up Hip Hop star-studded event at New York City hot spot Haus in Soho.

From those who paved the way to the reason for the celebration, the next generation, Angela Simmons, Romeo Miller, Damon “Boogie” Dash, Kristinia DeBarge, TJ Mizell, Egypt Criss, The View’s controversial Raven Symone, Taye Diggs, Lil’ Kim, Master P, Salt and even Pepa was there, the list goes on. Packed with more than a few legends, the entire venue was pure VIP status with champagne and Belvedere cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and Questlove behind the musical sounds. WE tv, the whole Growing Up Hip Hop cast and their famous friends and families put out and showed out.

Steadily pumping the airwaves with compelling, unscripted and drama filled programs, WE tv is at it again with another highly entertaining and passionate series to lock into. The new docu-series, Growing Up Hip Hop follows the lives and challenges faced by the offspring’s of Hip Hop music legends; in the midst of establishing and honing their own identities and notoriety, emulating their parents’ footsteps becomes all too real. Growing Up Hip Hop premieres Thursday, January 7 at 10 p.m. on WE tv.
