W.Concept Brings “URL to IRL” With NYC Pop-UP

W.Concept SoHo NYC

On Thursday, April 25, 2019, W Concept opened its first ever pop-up shop in SoHo NYC. The W Concept, an e-commerce shop offered shoppers an offline view of products as well as an incredibly instagramable experience.

W Concept first launched its e-commerce platform in 2011 as a way to share Korean fashion, art, and culture. Initially launched by WIZWID, one of the biggest e-commerce platforms for premium fashion in South Korea, W Concept is now a significant player in the world e-commerce fashion. W Concept has expanded to Chinese, Canadian, and US markets while being one of the top three e-commerce platforms in South Korea today.

Titled “URL to IRL,” the multinational e-commerce platform brought the W Concept shopping experience offline and straight to NYC. The private launch party was equipped with its own private arcade game room as well a floral infinity mirror room for the insta picture of your dreams. The W Concept pop up serves as somewhat of an offline showroom for the nineteen brands stocked within the space. As guests shopped around a QR code was available for shoppers to order and have products delivered straight to their door. The excitement didn’t stop there; the event was DJ’d by Zuri Marley with food vendors from Shake Shack, Morgansterns Ice Cream,  Fluff and Fluff cotton candy, and JAJAJA vegan Mexican cuisine.

While the pop-up was only open for a short time you can shop online at us.wconcept.com. Brands like Andersson Bell, Frontrow, Kindersalmon, Maison Marais, and J. Chung are all availible online alongside 2000 independent brands.
