Viva Hollywood Sparks Life Into Los Angeles Food Scene

Next time you’re on Hollywood Boulevard and looking for somewhere festive to eat, be sure to put the new Viva Hollywood at the top of your list.

Formally Beso Hollywood, Viva Hollywood sits central to several of the neighborhood’s top entertainment spots, giving its patrons more than enough to do before and after getting their fill. However, if you can’t pull yourself away from Viva’s superb atmosphere, lively music, and delicious libations…let’s just say I won’t be surprised.

Chef Raymond Alvarez and Executive Beverage Director Erik Weatherford fill what is already a fun and fabulous location with life. Viva Hollywood’s menus give more than enough options, while still playing off of inspired Latin culture. From salads and flatbreads to the more traditional tostadas and Chicken Mole, Chef Alvarez has truly thought up a dish to satisfy everyone’s needs and definitely their appetite.

“I am incredibly thrilled to have partnered with Viva Hollywood as there is an inherent alignment of our philosophies, which makes our collaboration even more exciting,” Alvarez said, “I look forward (to) sharing that harmonious experience with patrons and having them feel the love that I poured into making and curating our nutritious food menu.”

Speaking of pouring, you might want to skip the headache of finding parking in Hollywood and use an Uber ride as an excuse to try more than one of the delicious libations created by Erik Weatherford. Even more standout than the food, the only thing better than the creative names (La La Land, Afterglow, Walk with Stars, Sleepless Nights) is the taste each sip will leave in your mouth.

“I am looking forward to sharing my collaboration out of the box mixology techniques with the community and differentiating ourselves from other Mexican restaurants in Los Angeles,” Weather said.

Afterglow, just one of the delicious cocktails offered at Viva Hollywood!

And differentiate themselves, Viva Hollywood has successfully done. Although Los Angeles has several tasty and entertaining Mexican venues, Viva Hollywood is one that makes its patrons forget that they’re in La-La Land in lieu of a very different experience distinct to Miami. Whether it’s the boldness of the color scheme, the fun of the unique, albeit strangely placed, piñata room, or the talents of the live cabaret and flamenco performers, Viva Hollywood is selling far more than a delectable meal, it is selling a complete experience.

Do yourself a favor and book your table now before this gem is discovered by the rest of Los Angeles. Viva Hollywood is open Tuesday and Wednesday 6:00 P.M. – 12:00 A.M., and Thursday – Saturday 6:00 P.M. to 2:00 A.M. Please visit www.Viva-Hollywood.com or call (323) 467-1350 to make a reservation.
