Before its official release, rapper Toosii gave fans a special performance of his new E.P, ‘Boys Don’t Cry’.
Last week, rapper Toosii held a private NYC listening party for his new E.P, ‘Boys Don’t Cry’. The event was held at the Cult Lab in Midtown, NYC. Fans and friends of the artist were all in attendance to support the rapper. This is Toosii’s first project since his last E.P, ‘Pretty Girls Love Toosii’ which was released in 2021. When asked to describe ‘Boys Don’t Cry’, Toosii revealed that the songs are “vulnerable, fulfilling and fire”.
The listening party kicked off with a variety of Hip-Hop, R&B and Reggae tunes greeting guests as they arrived. Food along with drinks were also served to the attendees. Toosii soon took the stage and gave the crowd an intimate performance. For each track, the rapper detailed to the audience a brief summary of the song’s inspiration. For the songs that fans were familiar with, they all sang along to the lyrics and filled the room with much admiration for Toosii and his talent. The performance ended with the rapper greeting fans in the crowd.
