Three Days of NYC’s Largest Rosé Festival Comes to an End

The 3rd annual La Nuit en Rosé festival came to an end over the weekend but not without leaving a slew of pink filled memories in its wake.

The world’s first festival dedicated exclusively to rosé wine kicked off June 9th with a VIP rosé and dinner pairing followed by a cruise around NYC on the Hornblower Infinity Yacht.

The festival continued through Saturday night with 3 different two hour cruises – each featuring a tasting of more than 150 wines, bites from NYC top restaurants like Fig and Olive, and Dj’s good enough to keep the dancing alive and well.

This year the festival added the LVMH bespoke lounge which featured rosé champagne (yes, it exists) and interactive booths from Thomas Pink and Guerlain. Thomas Pink was demonstrating the art of the pocket square at their “Dashing Station” while Guerlain treated women to mini make overs featuring their infamous bronzing powders.

Hundreds of NYC men and women dressed in their most fabulous pink and white attire took the wine tasting seriously in the first hour, but as the ship made its way back to the dock, the party let’s loose and the tasting became more like a rosé free for all with vendors filling up empty glasses of those too busy to leave the dance floor.

But just because La Nuit en Rosé is over doesn’t mean the fun has to end. La Nuit en Rosé was created by wine entrepreneur and rosé ambassador Pierrick Bouquet. Pierrick was recently selected by Wine Enthusiast as one of America’s Top 40 Under 40 Tastemakers and he’s created Pinknic – a rosé themed music festival and picnic coming to NYC later this summer.
