It was a ball of vibrant energy at The Wythe Hotel as they kicked off pride festivities in collaboration with TREVORSHAUS for the Permanent Water event. This gathering not only celebrated Brooklyn’s LGBTQ+ and creatives, but a portion of the ticket proceeds went towards immigrant equality which advocates for and represents LGBTQ+ and HIV-positive immigrants seeking safety, fair treatment, and freedom.
The night entailed a one-night-only performance from an array of artists that include BMAJR, Magnolia Polaris, Guido, Gallexii, Rafia, Bri Blvck, crazyexgalpal, Venïson Man, Precious Okoyomon, along with a few surprise guests. There was also an astrology reading station, a massage table, genderless makeup by Fluide, and even a lookbook called Transformation by Frankie Wiener, a Brooklyn based genderqueer trans photographer.
