This fourth quarter has solidified itself as unforgettable, thanks to the unparalleled experiences during Culture Basel in Miami and the groundbreaking innovation of the Vouch app. For me, this marked a return to Miami—a city I hadn’t visited since the MTV Music Awards years ago—and my first immersion into the vibrancy of the Miami art scene during Art Basel Weekend.
Serving dual roles as both an ambassador artist and creative partner for Vouch, I witnessed firsthand how vision and connection can transform an event into a movement.
Culture Basel: Welcome 2 Miami Pop-Up Runway

At its core was the creative collaboration of local artists, designers, and performers, all converging to celebrate diversity and unapologetic self-expression.

Among the standout designers was Malachi, the visionary behind Maleware Designs, whose work captivated audiences with its bold, avant-garde aesthetic. Each piece on the runway radiated innovation, showcasing his ability to balance cutting-edge creativity with wearable fashion.
Vouch App: Revolutionizing Creative Connections
Culture Basel’s success was made possible through the innovative Vouch app, a revolutionary platform designed to connect industry professionals with paid opportunities. The app allows creatives to build networks, land gigs, and earn commissions through referrals, fostering a collaborative ecosystem for artists, models, makeup artists, photographers, and more.
Beck, one of Vouch’s founding board managers, shared his inspiring journey from finance into the arts, emphasizing the app’s mission to empower creators. His vision highlights how Vouch is helping creatives build grassroots connections while reshaping the gig economy.
As a proud ambassador for Vouch, I can confidently say the app is an indispensable tool for anyone in the creative industries.

A Weekend of Creativity and Culture
The weekend kicked off with the O.W.N. MiniFest, a high-energy, block-party-inspired celebration. As someone born and bred in Brooklyn, I was impressed by how this Miami “block party” deepened my understanding of culture and community.
Day two brought the Welcome 2 Miami Fashion, Art & Music Exhibit, a rebellious takeover showcasing stunning runway presentations and innovative designs.
Backstage at Nomi Village, I connected with the creative minds behind the show: The Rebel Agency team, led by CEO J. Alexander. The Rebel Agency made history this year by being selected as one of four agencies chosen out of thousands to win at the 2024 Global International Agency Awards—an extraordinary accomplishment, achieved within their first four months of operation.
The models, prepared under the expertise of runway coach Angeline Carvajal and co-founder and makeup artist Mya Luciano, lit up the stage with confidence and fire. This high-caliber production mirrored NYC’s energy while retaining Miami’s unique flavor.
RSVD Brunch: A Perfect Ending
The weekend wrapped up with the RSVD Brunch, blending good food, great energy, and meaningful connections. This exclusive Rebel-style brunch marked a one-year anniversary for RSVD Noir, another key contributor to the Culture Basel activation. The experience exemplified the event’s mission: bringing people together to create lasting memories and build community.

Why Culture Basel Matters
Culture Basel wasn’t just an event—it was a cultural reset. From celebrating Miami’s diverse art scene to highlighting the innovative potential of platforms like the Vouch app, the weekend reminded us of the power of collaboration and creativity.
Thank you, Miami, for giving me new roots and a reason to carry the culture and these collaborators on my back. This movement has been an unforgettable experience, and I’m grateful to have been a part of it. I even stayed a few days to explore the real estate market—you never know, Miami might see me again.
