The first trailer for the next installment in the “Rocky” franchise has been revealed.
The Rocky franchise has seen it’s ups and it’s downs, but it’s never out. The next chapter in the story follows the son of former world heavyweight champion Apollo Creed, played by Michael B. Jordan, as he trains to make his way in the boxing world, despite not knowing his famous father. All the while, close friend of Apollo and former champ Rocky Balboa, played by Sylvester Stallone, mentors and trains him. With Ryan Coogler, who wrote and directed Fruitvale Station, writing and directing this film, Creed looks to be a very fresh and interesting take on the tired series.
