The Standard, High Line Hosted ‘BOOM! Halloween’

The Standard got spooky!

This Halloween The Standard, High Line celebrated by turning its exclusive 18th floor into a moody disco tech.

The event entitled ‘BOOM! Halloween’ presented by Susanne Bartsch with Maurice Fulton, was held in Chelsea, Manhattan on All Hallows Eve. Multiple rooms filled up with techno music, fog, strobe lights, and of course people decked out in over the top costumes. A full bar was featured in every room for guests to purchase beverages and a food menu was available in The Top of the Standard penthouse lounge.

Guests flowed about, entering and existing among the pulsating rooms. The rooftop was also open to partiers, which many took advantage of despite having to bare the wind and rain. A giant white horse was fixed in the center of one of the rooms which guests used for mini photoshoots.

The most extraordinary part of the party, in this reporter’s opinion, was the view. From the roof top you could look one way and see the New Jersey gleaming across the water, then turn around and gaze down on the ascending Manhattan streets. Breathtaking.
