This June, sleep tourism was revolutionized during the trailblazing event that gave a new meaning to sleep tourism. The inaugural Global Sleep Symposium covered the cardinal points of sleep hygiene and body wellness in a way that was full of enlightenment.

A group of experts with dozens of accolades under their belts that were brought together to harmoniously cultivate glorious movement and enriched understanding. The teachings elevated the minds and spirits of each person in attendance who left with bliss due to the knowledge that was gained. Forever changed due to the revolutionary vision of Equinox Hotels.

During one curated day that focused on principles of sleep hygiene to gut health, a form of a modern mantra was discovered that stirred up a guide to an energetic shift. Central to the seminar was the realization that what Equinox Hotels does is unique and serves as an ideal role model for what the hospitality industry should be. This was the creation of the luxury lullaby for guests to receive the best night of sleep in their life.

Awe-inspiring, the world-class wellness experience was a spiritual journey to take attendees away to a pristine sleep space.

Designed by wellness architects and visionaries, guests were recharged by their empowering message. On day one Dr. Matthew Walker and Dr. Amy Killeen helped explore sleep science topics with world-renowned sleep neuroscientist, Dr. Matt Walker such as the brain, chronotypes, melatonin, and the effects of alcohol and caffeine, along with practical tips for better sleep quality and the impact of sexual health and hormones with Dr. Amy Killen

On day two, the moment began with an incredible sound movement journey and breakfast with Middleton, and Cynthia Thurlow. The award-winning sound designer and sleep science coach led a transformative sound art journey designed to relax the nervous system and induce a dream-like state.  His divine expertise in digital therapeutic music and wellness to combat stress, anxiety, and insomnia was shared. Gut health with the phenomenal Cynthia Thurlow was then shared. Both experts received grand applause for the recharge and reset life-changing affirmations that they shared.

In between, Equinox Hotels hosted a superb spa experience. The Sleep Performance Spa circuit included a Young Goose facial and Sleep IV drip that enriched the body fully and expanded into the realm of luxury hospitality.

The afternoon session hosted Harness the Summer Solstice for Longevity + Performance with Dr. Will Cole and Dr. Neil Paulvin. The captivating conversation on how optimize your sleep health and performance were the focus along with health tips from Catharine Arnston of ENERGYbits.

Synchronized with the celestial rhythm of the summer equinox, the Global Sleep Symposium epitomized the unwavering commitment to sleep as more than just a facet of hospitality, but a fundamental pillar of life itself.
