Show your dad a little appreciation with his favorite bottle

Father’s Day is finally here and if you are wondering what to get that special father figure in your life, the easiest and tastiest solution is a bottle of his favorite premium spirit to make a delicious cocktail.  And this year, we have a wide selection of options that will definitely make your father happy.

Our first few selections are the classic whiskey, scotch, and bourbon ones.

Proper Twelve Mule

  • 2 oz Proper No. Twelve Irish Whiskey
  • .5 oz lime juice
  • 3 oz ginger beer
  • Lime wedge

Directions: Add ice to copper mug. Add Proper No. Twelve Whiskey, lime juice and ginger beer to the glass. Garnish with a lime wedge

 

Proper Apple Smash

  • 2 oz Proper No. Twelve Irish Apple
  • .75 oz lemon juice
  • Splash of fresh pineapple juice
  • 2-3 oz club soda
  • Mint sprig for garnish

Directions: In a shaker, mix Proper No. Twelve Irish Apple, lemon juice and a splash of fresh pineapple juice. Pour over ice and top with club soda. Garnish with a mint spring and enjoy!

 

Apple Lemonade

  • 12 oz Proper No. Twelve Irish Apple
  • 32 oz lemonade
  • Mix in pitcher for group serve

Directions: Fill a pitcher with ice. Add Proper No. Twelve Irish Apple and lemonade. Stir and enjoy with a group!

 


Aberlour 12 Year Scotch Whiskey
Double Cask Highball

  • 2 parts Aberlour 12 Year
  • Splash of soda water
  • Orange peel garnish

 

Jefferson’s Reserve The Reserved Manhattan

  • 2 ounces of Jefferson’s Reserve
  • 1 ounce sweet vermouth
  • 2 dashes Angostura bitters
  • 1 dash orange bitters
  • Garnish: brandied cherry

 

Directions: Add all the bourbon, sweet vermouth and both bitters to a mixing glass with ice, and stir until well-chilled.  Strain into a chilled coupe.  Garnish with a brandied cherry.

 

Redbreast 12-Year-Old Flying Peach Old Fashioned

  • 5 parts Redbreast 12
  • 5 parts creme de peach
  • 2 dashes of simple syrup
  • 1 dash of Peychaud bitters
  • 2 dashes of orange bitters

Directions: Stir all ingredients in a mixing glass with ice.  Fill rocks glass with freshly cubed ice, strain into rocks glass.  Garnish with orange zest.

 

Martell Blue Swift Classic Man Sour

  • 2 parts Martell Blue Swift
  • 1 part honey syrup
  • 1 part lemon juice
  • Garnish: lemon twist

Directions:  Serve in a rocks glass filled with ice.

 

Grand Margarita

  • 0.75 parts Grand Marnier Cordon Rouge (an exceptional blend of fine cognac and bitter orange liqueur)
  • 1.5 parts Tequila
  • 0.75 parts Fresh Lime Juice
  • 0.25 parts Agave Nectar
  • Lime wheel to garnish
  • Salt Optional

Tequila Cazadores 100 Year Estate Release (SRP: $39.99)

Tequila Cazadores 100 Year Estate Release celebrates the 100-year anniversary of the brand’s original reposado recipe. The 100 Year Estate Release was produced using agave that was grown and matured on the Cazadores Distillery property in Los Altos de Jalisco. Made from a blend of tequilas aged in a combination of the distillery’s best hand-selected American oak and new French oak barrels, resulting in an extra special blend for such a monumental milestone.

 

Tequila Cazadores Añejo Cristalino (SRP: $39.99)

This smooth, colorless tequila is made with a slow, time-consuming and thorough filtration process. The result? An incredibly smooth Cristalino tequila with mellow wood and green apple notes. Tequila Cazadores Extra Añejo (SRP: $59.99)

The most aged of Tequila Cazadores, Extra Añejo is aged in virgin American oak barrels for at least three years, for deep flavors of vanilla, cinnamon, roasted apple and dried fruits.
