The Knockturnal Takes on The Museum of Ice Cream

The Museum of Ice Cream, Broadway, New York City. — The Knockturnal took a gleeful outing to a sweet venue, swirling its delectable way into the hearts of New Yorkers, The Museum of Ice Cream. This Museum is reminiscent of a large-scale pop-up with an interactive play space centered on Ice Cream, its history, and its versatile flavors.

The Museum offers tours, creative designs, and an adult-sized slide exit that spirals its way to the tasty MOIC Cafe; and this Christmas, the shop is Holiday Themed, set as a winter wonderland of Pinkmas cheer and nostalgic treats. They’ve also brought back one of their popular holiday favorites, the refreshing PINKMAS martini amongst others that includes:

  • “Naughty & Ice”, Frosty iced cocoa, milk and Bulleit Bourbon topped with whipped cream and a toasted marshmallow;
  • “Sprinkle of Gold”, A tiramisu-inspired martini made with licor 43 and cold brew, topped with whipped cream and gold glitter;
  • “Jingle Jangle”, a blend of sweet Hawaiian punch and bursting kiwi boba topped with tangy lemon foam; and last but certainly not least,
  • “Toasted Magic (w/ Bourbon)”, hot cocoa and milk topped with whipped cream and a toasted marshmallow, with an option to add Bulleit bourbon for extra Pinkmas spirit

The Museum of Ice Cream welcomes guests of all ages, offering play spaces such as a miniature arcade, a cotton candy machine, a Skee ball, and a small ball space for the tots. Crafty scenic backdrops for the 18+ crowd who look to add a bit of pizazz to their social media content and layouts are arranged throughout the space, along with an adult-only ballroom that is sure to bring out the inner kid in you. Please note that tickets can only be purchased online for the Museum of Ice Cream and the scheduled tours are available in increments of time blocks, pre-scheduled, and are required for attendance. Opening hours for the tour are Monday, from 10:00 am – 7:30 am; Tuesday, the venue is closed but reopens on Wednesday and Thursday from 10:00 am – 7:30 pm. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday offer tours from 9:30 am – 8:30 pm.
