The Knockturnal Celebrates Slow & Low’s New Old-Fashioneds

On Wednesday, September 17, The Knockturnal attended an immersive rooftop celebration at The Puttery NYC for the launch of Slow & Low’s two bold new RTDs, Cherry Old-Fashioned (in collaboration with Luxardo) and Maple Old-Fashioned (in collaboration with Crown Maple).

Guests enjoyed an exclusive first taste of these innovative expressions alongside Slow & Low’s award-winning portfolio, including the Proper, 6-Year, and Coffee Old-Fashioneds. The atmosphere paired expertly crafted cocktails with rooftop mini golf and slow-smoked bites from Brooklyn favorite Hometown Bar-B-Que. (The cornbread was a clear standout.)

Katie Cooper, President and Co-Founder of The Cooper Spirits Co., shared heartfelt reflections on continuing her late husband’s legacy, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to create with passion and surround herself with positivity. She was joined by Chad Solomon, Director of Innovation, who highlighted the collaborative R&D process and the exciting future of the Slow & Low brand.

The undeniable highlight of the evening was the Rock and Rye. Smooth, balanced, and flavorful, the cherry expression quickly emerged as the crowd favorite, capturing both the creativity and craftsmanship of the launch.

Overall, the event was a perfect September evening filled with craft, community, and celebration. With its bold new Cherry and Maple Old-Fashioneds, Slow & Low continues to push forward while honoring its heritage, proof that resilience and innovation can flow hand in hand.
