Insane, outrageous, high octane, EPIC…just some of the words the cast used to describe season 3 of Netflix’s hit show Outer Banks.

If you recall, season 2 came to a thrilling end with the Pogues losing their fight for the gold with the Camerons and fleeing the Outer Banks. Season 3 finds them washed ashore on a deserted island that is quickly deemed “Poguelandia” and essentially their own little oasis. The gang, John B [Chase Stokes], Sarah [Madelyn Cline], Kiara [Madison Bailey], Pope [Jonathan Daviss], JJ [Rudy Pankow], and Cleo [Carlacia Grant] are back together making themselves at home in their short-lived dwellings when trouble happens to find them once again. In no time they find themselves back in the hunt for the treasure but this time they may have more than Ward and Rafe to watch out for. A ruthless Caribbean Don [Andy McQueen] will stop at nothing to find the bounty and once again, it’s the Pogues against the world!

On Thursday, February 16 all-star cast Chase Stokes, Madelyn Cline, Madison Bailey, Jonathan Daviss, Rudy Pankow, Austin North, Drew Starkey, Carlacia Grant, Charles Esten, Cullen Moss, Julia Antonelli, Charles Halford and more came out to celebrate the upcoming season of Outer Banks at the Westwood Regency Village Theater. Additionally,  Lana Condor (To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before), Hunter Doohan (Wednesday), and the cast of “That 90s Show” attended to show their support.

The season 3 trailer reveals that John B [Chase Stokes] and his lost at sea father who was presumed dead will finally reunite to John B’s shock but will this reunion change the dynamics and mission for the close-knit group?  “There was a whole story, there was a whole chase before him [Big John] but the fact that they went through it, that’s the bond. Because you have your family, and then you got your family and the bones are there. In the wake of a missing father, in the wake of family trouble, in the wake of squabbling parents and everything else, they have this safe haven that is the Pogues,” Charles Halford said in regard to the return of his character.

The cast and crew have teased an exciting new season with plot twists and shocking revelations and with each season the fandom for the Outer Banks series have grown to unwavering heights. Many of the casts were just starting their acting careers to now gaining millions of followers on social media and mass attention. However, creator and executive producer Jonas Pete said, “people asked me if they changed over the last three seasons and the answer is no, they really haven’t. They’re just as humble and awesome as they ever have been.”

Catch season 3 of Netflix’s Outer Banks on Feb. 23.
