The Bacon And Beer Classic Returns To Citi Field

Bacon and beer.  What could be better?

The Bacon and Beer classic returns to New York at Citi Field.  Over 50 delicious bacon infused dishes will be present at this festival and will be made from some of NYC’s finest chefs and restaurants.  Some of these restaurants include Tres Carnes, Schmackary’s, Beast of Bourbon and Roni-Sue’s Chocolates.  And what goes better with bacon than beer?  At this festival guests can sample the bacon with unlimited pours of beer from over 125 local and regional breweries.  But wait, there’s more.  Guests can also come out and play giant Jenga, battle it out on a bungee run, and show off your inner supermodel in the photo booths.  And ink yourself up too with some temporary bacon tattoos.

The Bacon and Beer classic has had 11 classics to date with over 50,000 attendees.  This classic has been in 7 different cities as well.  And with 60,000 bacon infused dishes and 3,000 kegs of beer consumed to date, it isn’t hard to see why this classic has become so popular.

This Classic was started by Kate Levenstien, the dictionary definition of a foodie with a love for adventure too. With a background in PR and event planning, she started the event management agency Cannonball Productions, which produces some of the fastest-growing food and beverage festivals across the country. Along with the Bacon and Beer Classic, Cannonball Productions also produces the zoo-based beer festival Lions Tigers and Brews and Midwest winery tours and water tubing trips.

The event takes place at Citi Field on April 22nd and 23rd and tickets start at $69 and can be purchased by visiting www.baconandbeerclassic.com.
