The 2016 MTV Movie Awards Are This Sunday!

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Kevin Hart will be hosting the 2016 MTV Movie Awards. This year’s ceremony will be held outdoors, in the back lot of the Warner Brothers Studios in Burbank, California, for the first time ever.

The award show promises to be a star-studded event. Besides the hosting superstar duo, fans will also get to see Will Smith receive the Generation Award as well as Melissa McCarthy receive the comedic genius award, becoming the first woman ever to do so.

Before the show, MTV News Correspondent Josh Horowitz will highlight the most honored stars of the night during thered carpet, as well as looking back at some of the award show’smost iconic moments. Views will also get sneak peeks at some of Hollywood’s most-anticipated movies during the “2016 MTV Movie Awards” Pre-Show airing on Sunday, April 10 at 7:30 p.m.  Throughout the 30-minute Pre-Show, fans will get an insider look at three upcoming films, including Baywatch,Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planetsand Kong: Skull Island.

The award show will also have its share of exclusives, as fans will be treated to sneak peeks at three other films. Eddie Redmayne will present scenes from his newest film, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Will Smith, along with Jared Leto, Margot Robbie and Cara Delevingne, all stars of the film, will present the never-before-seen footage from Warner Bros. Pictures’ highly anticipated super villain movie Suicide Squad and Captain America: Civil War will be presented by Captain America, Chris Evans himself.

Along with the exclusives, Ariana Grande and Halsey will be performing.

The star-packed 2016 MTV Movie Awards will be airing Sunday April 10, at 8 p.m,
