AMC Networks shed light on a new chapter for Hollywood, one filled with diversity and female empowerment in the era of #MeToo, at its second annual summit held in New York Cityβs Lower East Side.
AMC networks first summit was dedicated to explaining and appreciatingΒ fandom, empowering and recognizing the kick-ass women on and off screen in AMC series, discussing the process and development of turning a book into a pilot, and insight on the creation of the network’s series; Better Call Saul. After breakfast, the event was divided into four sections, three of which featured different panelists, who aimed to speak on the realities of their crafts and participate in a Q&A with the audience.
This British import is on the rise and has a formidable resume to boast. Projects that include the James Brown biopic,Β Get On UpΒ and starring on the hit AMC series The Walking Dead since 2010.
